No. There is nobody on site to check you in, and that is the point. Your door code and directions come by email before you arrive, and the code opens your room from 4:00 pm on the day you check in. Check out is by 11:00 am. There is nothing to hand in.

First, make sure it is after 4:00 pm on your arrival date. Second, if we do not have a card on file for your booking, the code will not work until we do. Call us any hour at (719) 486-1418 and we will sort it out from the front desk of our sister hotel.

In our own lot, free, right outside your room. Trucks and bikes are fine. Trailers are not: they cannot park in the lot, and a trailer left in it is a $250.00 fee, so if you are towing one call us before you arrive and we will tell you where to put it.

The lot is off Harrison Avenue. Typing 207 Elm Street into a phone sends most people to the back of the building, where there is no entrance, so come in off Harrison. Here is the pin for the lot: open it in Google Maps or open it in Apple Maps.

One. Our ADA room, 211, the King Accessible, is step free from the lot to the bed by way of a ramp, with a wider doorway and a roll in shower with grab bars. Every other room is on the ground floor but has two small steps up into the room, so if steps are a problem, book 211.

No. The TVs are smart TVs, so sign in to your own Netflix, Amazon, Fubo or whatever you watch at home. Sign out when you leave.

No. At 10,152 feet the nights stay cool all summer. If you want a fan, call us and we will get one to your room.

Yes, for a fee, in the rooms with space for one. The smaller rooms cannot take a rollaway, so ask when you book.

No. Neither of our hotels serves breakfast. If a booking site told you breakfast was included, that was not us. We only sell rooms on this website and on Expedia. Third party sites that say otherwise are scam sites, and there are a lot of them right now. Harrison Avenue has good breakfast a short walk away.

No pets and no emotional support animals. Trained service animals are welcome. There is no smoking anywhere on the property, in the rooms or on the walkway, and that includes marijuana. The rooms have smoke sensors and the property has cameras, so if you smoke in a room or bring a pet, you will be charged for it. The same rules apply at the Delaware.

All year, every day, for guests only. There are no set hours, but the property is quiet after 9:00 pm, so keep it low after that. The rules are posted at the tub.

No. Use the towels in your room and bring them back.

There are cameras on the outside of the building. Nobody sits and watches them, but if there is a complaint about noise, smoke or a pet, we check them.

Our best available, military and senior rates can be cancelled up to 24 hours before arrival. Non refundable rates are non refundable. The policy is the same at both of our hotels.

Leadville is 10,152 feet. Drink more water than feels necessary, take the first day slow, and go easy on the first night’s beer. Summer highs are in the 70s. Winter nights go below zero.

The Historic Delaware Hotel, in the center of town on Harrison Avenue, about half a mile up the street and a ten minute walk.
